Development activities and programs promote the Meredith-Dunn mission, vision and philosophy of providing prescriptive instruction to students who learn differently.  Development is an institutional-wide concept. When determining short or long-term goals of the Development/Advancement Office, we begin with program planning that includes services, facilities, and financial planning. The Meredith-Dunn School process insures that fundraising does not drive the program, but rather that the program drives the Development Plan, ultimately benefiting appropriately from the effort.

Giving offers a way to voluntarily support the school, its students and its mission.  We ask that you give in any way and any amount that you can, as tuition only pays for a percentage of what it costs to educate a student.  Because raising tuition would keep some students from benefiting from the education they deserve, we must keep the cost of enrollment to a minimum.

Unrestricted funds will be used to close the gap between tuition and day-to-day expenses, teacher salaries, maintenance, school supplies, financial aid, and other fees that are required to run a school.  Your tax-deductible gifts benefit and support all aspects of the school.

Our goal is to garner support from our donors in a way that remains continuous.  Our long-standing relationships have been established over time, allowing us to gain support and trust from those who choose to give.  For the past five years, we have received gifts in excess of $1 million that has helped in enriching the lives of hundreds of students.  In order to build upon that number, our relationships must stay strong while building new relationships in the process.
